during bead and gem show week.  The shows take over the entire city.  This is my first year missing out on selling in Tucson since I moved.  I am definitely peagreen with envy that my friends are there running to every bead show and checking out all of the new creations.  My favorite show is the Best Bead Show.   Lewis Wilson and his show crew orchestrate a fabulous show offering a beautiful array of artist glass beads to the public.  So if you happen to be in Tucson, drop in the Best Bead Show and say Hi to all of my glass melting peeps!

Hi!  While I was moving all of my boxes from my home to the new school where I would be teaching I somehow….somewhere…..managed to hurt my “Plays with Fire” ring.  Years ago I won a limited edition Plays with Fire ring created by Misty Shwiyyat.  I have loved wearing it and it became part of my jewelry wearing repertoire.  Now I am going to miss my ring as it is sent back to its creater, Misty.   

Onto other news…I was filling in my planner and noticed the holidays are rapidly approaching.  I need to find some creative gifts for this year…especially for hubby.  Any ideas???????

Hi!  I just need to give my friend, Angie, a shout out!!!  Angie just announced to us that she is quitting smoking!  I am so proud of Angie and I know once she sets her mind to change her life for the better she will be going full throttle. 

Angie is one of those women that we all admire…a strong, fierce, full of life gal who is always determined to meet her goals. 

We are all on the sidelines cheering her on!!  Whoop!! Whoop!! Go Angie Go!!
