Hi! I am so excited-only two more weeks until our first Tampa Bay area lampwork get together. Yippeee!!!! I need to practice a bead to demo…I am thinking of something Halloweenish…that should be fun!!! Maybe something ghoulish…spooky….booorific!

Hi! It has been awhile since my last post…sorry about that. I went to California to take a break and to see family. It was so much fun. Now I am back and looking at the torch and trying to find some mojo to create something. I joined a Halloween Exchange so perhaps a few Halloween beads will get me out of my funk.
Gotta run…hubby has a flat tire and needs some help with something….

Today is my hubby’s birthday. Every year for the past 20 years, he requests the same thing…beef strogonoff for dinner and a pineapple upside down cake for dessert. So I went shopping for all of the ingredients first thing this morning. Of course I forgot something…the cherries! eeek! What is pineapple upside down cake without a marichino cherry in the middle of each pineapple slice??? So, I am off to the grocery store once again.

post Olympics. I don’t know about you but the past two weeks I have been immersed in the Olympics. I watched every event I could. Stayed up all night too. I am just resetting my sleeping clock this week and it is sooooo hard to do. My favorites to watch were gymnastics, beach volleyball, swimming, synchronized swimming, diving, synch diving, and equastrian events. I love the Olympics…do you???

Hi! How are you all doing? Anyone seen the fury of T.S. Fay? We prepared for the worse and luckily not much has happened yet. Pyro does not like all of the wind and the dark clouds but she was really happy to spend most of the afternoon outside in the cool air.
So after playing outside all afternoon she went for a swim, had a bath, and is now barely able to keep her eyes open and head off her paws. Too funny. Pyro is one tired puppy!!

Hi! I love earrings and when I was younger used to wear fun and funky dangling earrings all of the time. Then something happened and I became allergic to sterling silver and white gold earrings but I still drool when I see some cool fun designs. Joolz by Lisa has some really uber cool sterling silver and lampwork earrings. Aren’t these divine???

Hi! I actually melted some glass on Friday. After setting up my studio and moving the boro glass out of the way and resetting up with Effetre glass I created a few beads. So after having months and months away from glass it was like spending the morning with my ol’ buddies. Unfortunately, I was a lit’l rusty with my sculptural work.
More soon.
Should I take the hint…the last four days I have been offered to teach lampworking in 3 different facilities in the Tampa area.
…hmmmmm…would anybody even want to take a class with me??????
What do you think??? Would you sign up to take a class if I was the instructor? and which bead styles of mine interest you to learn about???

Hi! This is my first year of missing out on attending the ISGB Gathering…and I am really very sad about it! This year the Gathering will be held in Oakland, California August 7-10th. On Saturday, August 9th, there is a bead bazaar that is open to the public and is a must-go if you live nearby event. I have been viewing some of the work people are planning on bringing to sell and each bead has been amazing!!
